The themes incorporated in my work are whimsical and fantasy-based, using imagination and mythology references to produce a range of anything that comes to mind. Fantasy-like creatures are a common element depicted in my work, taking inspiration from real animals, like a bear, and other various fantasy creatures. While mixing different elements from different animals (i.e. horns, wings, and claws) the outcome is sometimes cute or other-worldly. There isn’t always a certain meaning or purpose behind these creatures, however I do want the viewer to ponder the pieces and use their own imagination.
