BFA Graphic Design

The work I create is mostly mixed media, spray paint, and illustration. My style as a Graphic Designer is well-balanced and feminine, and my color choices are vibrant. The theme for my show is a series of honeybee designs, with flowers as well as nature. The artist who influences me is Jim Philips, his work is illustrative and bright. His work has inspired creativity in most of my graphic design work.

 

Bees hold personal significance to me. I grew up in California and my father kept bees. It was extraordinary to see them pollinating and taking nectar from the flowers back to the hive. This is a memory I cherish, and my love for everything associated with this memory is what I hope to express in my exhibition.
