My work is a representation of my fascination with texture, color, and the fluidity of both of these elements within different mediums. My approach to a work is dependent upon my medium. I carve the textural expression of a form when using ceramic clay. When painting, I express texture through the overlaying of colors. In Cinema 4D, a computer modeling program, I manipulate geometric forms and apply personalized texture. These forms are also 3D printed bringing them to life. I am inspired by the connection between 2-dimensional, and 3-dimensional artwork. And the fluidity that can be created between the different realms.
