My everyday surroundings have led me to my vision as an artist. The people and places I love, as well as life altering moments, both positive and negative, are what I strive to portray in my work. The phenomena of nature alone has largely impacted my outlook on life as an individual and society as a whole. This translates directly into the mediums and imagery I often choose to work with. Natural elements are a necessity for all people therefore it is a focal point in my art. I incorporate certain aspects of the environment to reflect memories and ideas that anyone can relate to. My hope for any piece that I produce is that the viewer can walk away with a deeper understanding of self.
